Ancient Wisdom Quotes... Empty Ancient Wisdom Quotes...

Blind men hear what deaf men see.

Be kind to unkind people; they need it the most.

To know the road ahead, ask those coming back.

The water that bears the ship is the same that engulfs it.

Once the water is out of the bucket it’s hard to pour it back.

The tongue is like a sharp knife… It kills without drawing blood.

Tell me and I’ll forget; show me and I may remember; involve me and I’ll understand.

You can’t expect both ends of a sugar cane to be sweet.

It is the beautiful bird which invariably gets caged.

Hi Linda, as logical as this one is, "To know the road ahead, ask those coming back. "

I personally think we should take that road, and experience it for ourselves.

Myself, I think I would like to hear their experience, before I went out there, so I could know what was up ahead. (-:

That's true, everyone's experience IS going to be different, I am just a scaredy cat for the unknown. For instance, when I was little, I dreaded being the first to sit in the dentist chair, If one of my brothers or sisters got called in first, I was relieved when one of them went in first, so I could see they survived and walked out. (-: Same with roller coaster rides, I sat one out this spring, and when my Dad got off of it, he told me it was not that bad, so I rode it with him, and enjoyed every second.
