PRACTICE
Samael Aun Weor wrote:The devotee should concentrate on his heart, imagining there thunder and lightning, fast
moving clouds that are lost in the twilight, blown by strong hurricanes. The Gnostic
should imagine many eagles flying in that infinite space which is within, very deep
within his heart. Imagine the profound forests of nature, filled with sun and life, the song
of birds and the sweet and peaceful chirping of the crickets of the forest. The disciple
should fall asleep imagining all of this. Imagine now that in the forest there is a throne of
gold, upon which is seated the Goddess K√£kini, a very divine woman. The Gnostic
should fall asleep meditating on this, imagining all this. He should practice one hour
daily, but if he practices two or three or more hours daily, even better. He can practice
seated in a comfortable arm chair, lying on the floor, or on his bed, with his arms and legs
open both right and left as a five-pointed star. Sleep must be combined with meditation.
One must have much patience. These marvelous faculties of the cardia are obtained with
infinite patience. It is better that the impatient, who want everything straight away, who
do not know how to persevere their whole life should leave, be cause they are of no use.
Powers are not obtained by playing around; everything costs. Nothing is given to us as a
gift.

To me as he said that nothing is given to us as a gift, definitely shows in my life. We must work on oursleves daily to better our lives and the ones around us, we must be the light to help this world move in a more positive direction. I have many bad habits that i know i need to work on and change, also much of what i was taught growing up, needs to be observed and understand why i believe what i believe. I followed my parents lead, and societies ways so i could fit in. If you believe in Enlightenment/Nirvana A blessed state in which the individual transcends desire and suffering and attains Nirvana. Then one must do the work on their self. This state does not just appear as a gift, it only becomes a gift when we put in the work in.

Many Blessings

In order to attain spiritual enlightment you are absolutely right Spirit-Being, we all have to work on our selves, which does require alot of patience and self discipline. It doesn't just happen like a given gift.Spirit-Being said

Visualize Practices Empty Re: Visualize Practices

Post by 23luda23 on August 11th 2009, 3:19 pm

Yesterday I received a phone call from my dental office confirming my appointment for today. I very much dislike go to any doctor, vet and etc. because I always end up waiting there for more then an hour in the waiting room, then another 30 minutes to an hour in the doctor’s room. Last night I decided to put the visualization to the test. I imagined I drown to the office, got in, sigh in and set reading my book for some short period of time then they call me in. On the dentist chair I continued to read my book for even shorter period of time. The dentist that I liked came in, numbed the place where he was going to work on, without me feeling any pain and perform the work in the short period of time. When I was done I made another appointment and drown all the way home.

And today it happen almost word for word, I was in and out the office within one hour. Got the dentist I liked (without asking for him) and no pain of any kind. I feel great and will definitely use creative visualization, because it does work.

I to dislike going to dentist or doctors, and haven't been to either in quite some time, for lack of payment methods, and for my own peace. It costs a great deal of money to visit these specialists, and without insurance it would be unlikely for me to go to these specialists and lie about payment later. Sorry i got off track here as i sometimes do, this visualization seemed very helpful for you. I would very much like to try a visualization practice very soon. I just have so much crap in my mind & i am working hard on getting rid of the cobwebs.

Visualize Practices Cobweb-1

Sometime in the future i will share a visualization here with all of you.

Many Blessings

I almost forgot to come back here, we have so many areas to post here.

Update: I did use the visualization when I went to the dentist and normally I am very afraid but this time it was a lot easier on me. Not that I didn't feel scared, but I could deal with the deep cleaning better then I have in the past. I will continue to use it for the next appointment!

This was a new dentist and new hygienist so I was more apprehensive than ever or I should have been but felt very comfortable! I don't think I will ever love going to the dentist but who knows! Thank You
